My School Getaway
This past weekend me and my dad spontaneously flew down to Engelberg, Switzerland for a long weekend skiing trip and I gotta say, I loved it! It's been awhile since I last went skiing, but it felt so good to just glide on the perfect snow once again.
During the trip, I got to try my first real Swiss meat fondue, got to skii in really deep off pist snow for the first time (utterly failing, but atleast I tried) and even got to see a live after ski band for the very first time.
All in all, it was just nice to skip school for a day - to spend a long weekend just worrying about the throbbing pain of the skii boots, (if you know skiing, you know how uncomfortable those damn skii boots are,) and not getting run over by the badass Swiss and Austrian skiiers.
